Yes. The body breaks down with common tools, so you can clean salt out of the pivot, re-oil it, and replace the carbide cutters. If the tips drift out of line, back the center screw off, line the jaws up, and snug it back down. Do not overtighten it.

Love these pliers very sharp cutting for all types of fishing line including braid. Love the locking features on these I can hold fish if needed with the locking feature and dont have to worry about the pliers come flying open out of the sheath. Highly recommend these pliers Dad and I love them and they don't rust. Keep it up beyond braid! Only one thing they could use is a little rubber grip or some type of grip texture on the handles they get a little slippery when your hands get wet other than that awesome pliers!

Hands down the best pliers I have had for fishing. I've even used these for angering my kayak. But they are the best for braided line and anything fishing I have done.
