Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 19, 2026

Fishing King Supply, LLC, doing business as Beyond Braid ("Beyond Braid," "we," "us," or "our"), operates beyondbraid.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit the Site, buy from us, or contact us; how we use it; who we share it with; and the choices and rights you have.

By using the Site, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service, and you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described here. Where the law requires your separate consent (for example, for advertising and analytics cookies), we ask for it through the cookie banner on the Site, and you can change your choice at any time.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us - Order information: name, billing and shipping address, email, phone number, and payment details. Payments are processed by Shopify Payments and other payment providers; we do not store full card numbers. - Account information: if you create an account, your login details and order history. - Marketing sign-ups: email address and/or mobile number when you subscribe to emails or texts, including through a signup offer. - Customer support: anything you send us by email, chat, or phone. We may monitor or record customer service calls, chats, and emails for quality assurance, training, and record-keeping. By contacting us through those channels you consent to that monitoring and recording. - On-site assistant: our Site uses an automated assistant (provided by RepAI) that uses artificial intelligence to answer product questions. Your conversation with the assistant is stored and may be reviewed by us and our provider to improve answers. - Reviews and content: reviews, photos, or videos you submit, including through Loox.

Information collected automatically when you use the Site - Device and connection data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, language, and approximate location derived from your IP address. - Browsing data: pages and products you view, the URL of each page, the page that referred you to the Site, search terms, time on page, clicks, and items added to your cart. - Cookies and similar technologies: cookies, pixels, tags, and session identifiers set by us and by the partners listed in Section 3. See Section 5.

Information from other sources: advertising and analytics partners may tell us that you interacted with one of our ads, and marketplaces and shipping carriers send us order and delivery information.

Sensitive personal information. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (such as government ID numbers, precise geolocation, health, biometric, or financial account login data), and we do not use or disclose personal information to infer characteristics about you.

2. How we use your information

  • Process, ship, and support your orders, including returns and warranty claims
  • Run, secure, and improve the Site, and detect and prevent fraud
  • Send order and shipping updates
  • Send marketing emails and texts if you've opted in
  • Measure how the Site and our marketing perform
  • Show you advertising for our products on other websites and apps, and measure the results (if you've allowed advertising cookies, or as otherwise permitted by law)
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

3. Who we share your information with

Service providers that run parts of our business for us under contract: - Store platform and payments: Shopify (including Shop Pay) - Fulfillment and shipping: our third-party warehouses and shipping carriers - Email and SMS: Omnisend and Postscript - Reviews and on-site features: Loox (reviews), Monk Commerce (product offers), Hextom (shipping bar), Corner (cart), and RepAI (on-site assistant) - Site reliability: error-monitoring tools, such as Sentry and Better Stack, that our apps use

Advertising and analytics partners. When you visit the Site, and only after you accept advertising or analytics cookies in our cookie banner where we ask for consent, the following partners receive information from your browser in real time through pixels, tags, and cookies: your IP address, the URL of each page you visit, the referring page, browser and device identifiers, cookie and session identifiers, and the actions you take (such as viewing a product, adding to cart, or purchasing). - Meta (Facebook and Instagram) for advertising and measurement - Google (Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Merchant Center) for advertising and analytics - TikTok for advertising and measurement - Snap (Snapchat) for advertising and measurement - Hyros for advertising attribution - Plausible for privacy-focused site analytics

Triple Whale, our first-party analytics and attribution provider, loads a script on every page that records your visit and purchases for our own reporting. Triple Whale does not use this information for its own advertising.

These partners use this information to show our ads, measure their performance, and in some cases to improve their own advertising services. Their use is governed by their own privacy policies.

Other disclosures. We may disclose information if required by law or legal process, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business.

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, sharing information with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising may count as "selling" or "sharing" under some US state privacy laws. You can opt out as described in Section 6.

4. Server-side measurement

When you place an order, we send purchase information (such as order value, products purchased, and a hashed version of your email address and phone number) directly from our servers to Meta and TikTok so we can measure whether our ads led to sales. A hashed value is a one-way coded version of the data that doesn't reveal the original email or phone number. Our consent tools are set up to apply your cookie choices to this sharing as well. You can opt out as described in Section 6.

5. Cookies and your choices

  • Necessary cookies keep the Site working (for example, your cart and checkout). They are always on.
  • Analytics cookies help us understand how the Site is used.
  • Advertising cookies let our partners show and measure our ads.

On your first visit, our cookie banner asks for your choice. Analytics and advertising cookies stay off until you click Accept. You can change your choice at any time on our Cookie preferences page, linked at the bottom of the Site. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the Site may not work properly.

Global Privacy Control. We treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for that browser.

Do Not Track. Because there is no common standard for "Do Not Track" signals, we rely on GPC and our cookie banner instead.

6. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Texas, Virginia, and other US states, and the EU/UK), you may have the right to: - Know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use and share it - Get a copy of your personal information - Correct inaccurate information - Delete your personal information - Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and of targeted advertising. Use our "Your privacy choices" page, change your settings on the Cookie preferences page, or turn on GPC. - Opt out of marketing emails (use the unsubscribe link) and texts (reply STOP) - Appeal a decision we make about your request

To make a request, email info@beyondbraid.com with the subject "Privacy Request," or write to us at the address below. We will need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time required by law. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof that the agent is authorized. We won't discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

California "Shine the Light." California residents may ask once a year for information about any disclosure of personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. Contact us at the email above.

EU and UK residents. We process your information to fulfill our contract with you, with your consent (for cookies and marketing), for our legitimate business interests (such as fraud prevention and improving the Site), and to meet legal obligations. Your information is processed in the United States. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

6A. Notice of financial incentive

We offer discounts and perks in exchange for joining our email list, text-message list, or Insider Club (for example, a percentage off your first order for subscribing, or a repeat-purchase discount for Insider Club members). To provide them, we collect your email address and/or mobile number, your name, and your order history, and we use that information as described in this policy. Participation is voluntary. You can opt in by submitting the signup form or checking the box at checkout, and you can opt out at any time by unsubscribing from emails, replying STOP to texts, or emailing info@beyondbraid.com. We value the information you provide at roughly the cost of the discount or perk we offer, based on the expense of running these programs and the revenue they generate. We don't treat customers differently based on whether they participate, other than providing the stated discount or perk.

7. Text messages

If you opt in to texts, we use your mobile number to send order updates and marketing messages through our SMS providers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. We do not sell or share your mobile number or text-messaging opt-in data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

8. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described above. In deciding how long to keep it, we consider the type of information, why we collected it, whether you have an open order, return, or warranty claim, our tax, accounting, and legal obligations (generally seven years for transaction records), and whether we have a legal dispute that requires it. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or your account becomes inactive. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date above, and for significant changes we'll provide additional notice on the Site.
