Seems well built and sturdy. Haven't gotten to use it yet though. Been out 3 times this week so far and not a single nibble. 😮💨

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Slide the tool down the line to the hook eye, keep light tension on the line, twist and back the hook out the way it went in. The T-handle grip gives you the control to do it one handed while the other hand holds the fish.

Yes, and that is the point. A gut-hooked fish released fast with the hook backed out cleanly has far better odds than one worked on for two minutes with fingers and pliers. If the hook will not come free, cut the line close and let it go.
It is built for fresh and saltwater and handles the everyday range of both. For a very big fish with heavy-gauge hooks, use it to control the hook and a heavy plier to do the pulling.
Rinse and dry after saltwater like any tool. The handle is vinyl coated for grip in wet conditions, so it will not slide out of your hand when it is covered in slime.
