Ok so it was just a Bahamas Grunt, but it was ill tempered and the Beyond Braid 8 1/2” pliers was just the thing I needed!

Not happy with them. I use them for saltwater fishing and they rust. When trying to get hooks out of fish mouths they slip easily and dont grab the hook. Also when grippingvtight the ends crossover the hook. I would never buy again and never recommend for the fishing I do. They might be better for freshwater pan fishing.
I'm not happy with the build of these needle nose. Flimsy and cheap for 20 bucks. Sorry guys. I picked up an aluminum handled pair at Walmart for 14.99 that are much better quality metal in the actual plier.
Pliers work well in ocean conditions. The salt water didn't affect the use the next two times used. No rust. Happy fisherman Thank you

They are nice but seems like when you really try and squeeze on a hook in a fish's mouth they slip on tips and wanna cross over each other, there not very strong at the tip like a normal pair of needle nose
Love the spool holder Rod holder is the best and the pliers are long enough to get the hooks out that the bass has choked
I ordered the7” and the 8.5” and you shipped me to 7” and when I emailed and told you that you made it seem like it was my problem. Will never buy from you again. Horrible customer service and lost me as a customer.
Great Buy
I fish saltwater several times a week and catch a lot, so these pliers got plenty of real-world use. After about a month, there’s still no rust, which is impressive. Unfortunately, I can only give them 2 stars because they just aren’t sturdy enough when unhooking reds or black drum. I use lightweight #2 hooks, and when I grab and twist, the tips of these pliers flex and twist before the hook even comes free. I’ve given them multiple tries with the same result. I also don’t want to be digging around for another pair of pliers while holding a fish in my hand, but that’s exactly what I end up doing. Great corrosion resistance, but not dependable for actually removing hooks.
