Orders leave our Miami, Florida warehouse within one to two business days. Most orders arrive within two to five business days after that. We ship using the post office, UPS, and FedEx.

Yes. Orders over $50 ship free. We also run promotions that add a free gift at that threshold, and whatever is currently running is shown in the banner at the top of every page.

Everything ships from our own warehouse in Miami, Florida. We are a US company shipping domestically, so you are not waiting weeks on an overseas parcel.

You have 30 days from the date of purchase. The item needs to be unused, in the same condition you received it, and in its original packaging. We need a receipt or proof of purchase to process it.

Email info@beyondbraid.com with your order number and what you would like to do. We will send you return instructions. Do not ship anything back before you hear from us, or we cannot track it to your order.

Once your return arrives and is inspected we email you to confirm whether it was approved. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. Banks and card issuers usually take a few more days to post it.

Eight strands are woven tighter and rounder, so 8X is thinner for the same pound test, slicker through the guides, quieter on the cast, and it flies further. 4X uses four thicker strands, which makes it more abrasion tolerant against rock and structure and easier on the wallet.

No Fade is our 8X series. Those colors are made from solid-color OEM fiber rather than dyed line, so there is no coating to bleed onto your hands or your reel. Our camo and multicolor lines are dyed and will soften in color over time like any dyed braid.

As a rough guide: 8 to 15lb for trout, panfish, and finesse work, 20 to 30lb for bass and general inshore, 40 to 65lb for redfish, snook, and heavier structure, and 80lb and up for offshore. Every listing shows the exact pound tests and diameters available for that line.

Much thinner at the same strength, usually right around half the diameter. That means more line on the same reel, less wind resistance, and noticeably longer casts. Exact diameters for every pound test are in the size chart on each product page.

Braid is slick enough to spin on a bare spool. Either lay down a short mono or fluoro backing and join it with an FG or double uni knot, or wrap a strip of electrical tape around the bare arbor first. Then spool under steady tension with the line coming off the filler spool the same direction it goes onto your reel.

For braid to leader, the FG knot is the strongest and thinnest and it passes through guides cleanly. A double uni with six to eight wraps per side is easier to tie and holds well. For braid to hook or lure, a Palomar is hard to beat.

Not with nail clippers and not with a knife. Braid is a PE fiber that frays and rolls away from a dull edge instead of cutting, which leaves a mashed end that will not pass through a knot cleanly. Use a serrated braid scissor for a square cut.

No. Modern guide inserts handle braid without trouble. What actually shreds line is an insert that is already chipped or cracked. Run a cotton swab around the inside of each guide once a season, and if it snags a fiber, replace that guide.
