Would like to have a little more tension on the spool. I tightened it as much as I could but I would like it to be slightly tighter for small diameter braid. It would be nice to have a QR code included on the packaging to watch a demo. It seems self explanatory but watching a video with explanation might be helpful.

I was skeptical about this product simply because of how was taught to spoil a spinning reel by my grandpa. Gone are the days of laying the spool of line label up and bringing my finger from applying pressure. This eliminates all that. If you don’t have one you need to get one.

When I set the tension on the springs the line just unravels and wraps around everything. Seems like a good product in the videos and a simple design but it just didn’t work for me .

It’s a good idea…clamps tight to what you want to clamp it to. And works good for filler spools, but SUCKS for bulk spools!! It’s too small for 1000 yrd spools to fit properly, and line jumps off and wraps around the ends all the time. Mine spends more time hanging on the wall than being used now.

It was my first time using it and I kept on getting wrapped around by the spring and the other parts on the other side when I try to get my fishing pole and start rolling my line I had to stuff like three or four times and it was really frustrating. I thought this product would work better than it did. Maybe I was doing something because it was my first time using, but I’ll continue to use it and try to master the technique.
