Santa gave this awesome back pack to my 11 year old fishaholic and it made his year ☠️ immediately it had his new rod in the holder and was skipping around the yard . Good quality zippers and has a great look. I’ll be getting one for myself because Mrs Santa didn’t get me one lol

It is not for salt water fishing the pole holder could not and would not hold a good salt water fishing pole made for fresh water otherwise it is a good backpack comfortable

I have it loaded with gear (pliers, hemostats, line cutter, extra leader, extra braid, a 3600 Plano style box (plastics, hard baits, frogs & Wacky rigs & drop shot), a smaller tackle tray, fishing gloves, hat, towel, fish grips & digital scale, knot tools, fillet knife & flashlight).
My telescopic x rod & Piscifun CarbonX II 1000 spinning reel is on the outside rod holder.
I keep this bag in my Jeep for any ‘targets of opportunities’ when driving.
I use two large carabiners to latch bag to backseat headrest to ride upright in the back seat.

First of all, I love this pack! Many reviews say it's super small, too small and not enough room. I disagree. Yes it's small, but it's not meant to carry a week's worth of gear. I own the biggest Plano tackle box they sell at Walmart and lots of gear. I condensed my lures, leader line, and need to have tools so it'll fit this pack easily. There's plenty of room for your stuff, and essentials. I only carry one fishing rod and use the rod holder slot for a large knife since my son and I fish Canada a lot and handguns aren't allowed. We hike way back in and this small but might pack works awesome. I'm 5'9" 190 and it's sleek. Doesn't hang out past my body and snag brush. I zip right through. I bought my son a Kast King Carryall pack and I think he likes mine better. Buy it, you will like it. Good zippers and padded straps, along with plenty of storage. It can hold more tackle than my picture shows. The ONLY reason this pack receives 4 stars instead of 5 is because some of the stitching is sloppy and coming apart. I fixed it with some dental floss and a needle. Shouldn't have to, but it's still awesome.

Perfect bag to pack the essentials. It is tight but able to get all I need for a days fishing love the ability to store rod on the side helps free up hands when headed out. I can bring everything to fish heavy surf conditions and still tag along the lighter set ups to fish lures in the surf. Proper planning is needed but the ultimate minimalist bag.
