I got a pair in the past and only tried them in my hand. Then I got this free pair and actually gave a fair trial. Usually cutting light braided line tends to be tricky. I had 8 lb Beyond Braid and made a successful clean cut ✂️ with out holding the opposite end. Could not be more impressed
