Hey the line spooling assistant is very helpful the only issue I had was the suction cup didn't want to stick so I got the surface wet problem solved. Used it to spool up 6 rods worked perfectly the 2000 Yard spool was almost too big but it held it and I spooled up 2 penn conventional reels with about 800 yards of 40 lb blue wave .

Absolutely lived it. I connected to the hood of the Jeep rt at the lake, spooled off 250 yards of the Beyond braid Patriots Edition. It's compact light and able to fit in my New Beyond Compact Tackle Backpack which is well constructed lightweightandplenty enoughroomforahike around the lake. Love both items and I am highly recommending this products

It could be a bit longer for bigger spools as the 2000 yard one barely seems to fit, and the suction cup doesn't hold on the slightest textured surface. Other then that it does greatly help for spooling line on. I just put it in vise and knock out all my rods in no time.

I have not been able to use mine the large spools I get from Beyond braids Do not sit well on it I have not yet tried a smaller spool but I can see where it would work well I think the shaft where the line goes on should be at least an 1 to 1 1/2 longer so that the larger schools would fit on easily

This spooler is great. You can take it about anywhere and it secures very well to any hard smooth surface. I've used it to respool all my reels (bait casting and spinning) and am very happy I decided to buy it.
