The 8x seemed to twist and end up in a knot for the first few casts. It may have been too much line on the reel, but it is worry some knowing I may have to continue to retire my mono leader at any given point

Scissors work great for brraid line, hvy mono #60, not so much.
Not sure bout the braid itself. Blue #15 one spool blew smooth off reel, the other would twist into birdnests mid air. The purple #30, strong,smooth casts, the dye...faded off onto fingers casting, then was faded out by end of day. Still, strong n smooth casts.

After spooling My New Bait casting and Spin casting reels with Beyond Braid fishing line I tied on some Top Water easy clips on the ends. I used the New mini scissors to trim off the excess line.

The braid is junk. Broke off First time fishing with it a couple times when I set the hook. My 8lb floro leader didn’t brake but my braid did. Took it off my reel and respooled it with 832 like I should have in the first place. You get what you pay for.
