I have found that braided line is so much stronger than rope from the store that I use it to secure things in the truck instead of rope. I know this sounds funny to some out there but if you check the listed capacity of 1/4" rope to 100-pound fishing line you may be surprised. It also takes up less room when disposed of.
I also like it for fishing as it is supper durable when fishing for Sturgeon in the Columbia River. Be careful though some of those fish will drag you down the shore and into the river!

To be honest I was so exited when I seen y’all’s braid and I bought a 300 yard spool of it, I’ve honesty never had more problems out of braid it bleeds dye all over my hands and my pole and the braid itself is super loose I hade to mess with my brakes a ton to get my reel to stop bird nesting

Well I havent used it yet but restrung 5 reels for my trip to the beach in July. I do know it looks and feels like good line. My wife had trouble cutting it with scissors. So I will let you know how it works out mid July.
